Intro Stories

New Story Alert! Caterpillar Butterfly is introducing the first original children story series on the website https://caterpillar-butterfly.com: The Orange and Ginger Soapy Shampoo: A Bubble’s Journey.

The Orange and Ginger Soapy Shampoo is a children’s story about two curious BIG bubbles with even BIGGER dreams to venture across the world. The main characters, M.E. and Lumy, have a string of fun adventures along their journey: a goofy performance with a clown, a memorable encounter with the tall pretty lady in New York City and a meeting with the glorious Blue Bubble (the Moon)! They make many new friends on their way and even make a thunderous enemy (unknowingly).

The Orange and Ginger Soapy Shampoo will take children to an enlightening journey across all seven continents and even into space! Moreover, the story will also teach children important lessons about friendship, family, loss, and ambitions along with each chapter.

Consisting of 11 episodes, each with a reading time of no more than 10 minutes, this series sparks the imagination and encourages children to be creative and observant about the little things in life. The main characters, M.E. and Lumy, embody childish curiosity, bravery, and the spirit of friendship while the other characters bring their wonderfully unique personalities to the mix.

The first episode of The Orange and Ginger Soapy Shampoo, “Meet M.E. and Lumy”, is available, you can listen to the first episode here from the audiobook of The Orange and Ginger Soapy Shampoo: A Bubble’s Journey on your way to school, during long car trips, anytime or bedtime! Hard and soft cover books are coming soon!

Here’s a letter from Cate, who’s thrilled for you to read the first story:

Hello Everyone!

I’m super-duper excited to share my first ever story series with you. It took me a little while to finish writing M.E and Lumy’s adventure but I’m sure everyone will love the ending.

When I began reading ‘The Orange and Ginger Soapy Shampoo: Meet M.E and Lumy’ to my sisters Fatima and Loretta, they asked me so many questions about the story, the main question being: How can bubbles go on an adventure without popping? (the answer to that lies here) *link to first chapter*

Bubbles are truly magical.

When I saw Grandmamma Belle’s little grandson, Ross, blow bubbles in the backyard for the first time, I felt giddy with joy. He would blow bubbles and then try to chase them as they flew away with the breeze. Bubbles bring so much happiness wherever they float to which is why I wanted to bottle this excitement and share it with others through my stories.

The thought of two magical bubbles floating across the world to sightsee and make quirky new friends makes me wish I could go on an adventure with the bubbles as well!

What about you? If you could float to your favorite destination, where would you go? Share your answers in the comments below.

Your favorite storyteller,

Cate Caterpillar
